Integrated grid
Made in Germany
Seamless coordination

Comprising five H-TEC SYSTEMS electrolysis systems each with 200 kW, the hydrogen integrated grid will be installed at suitable wind farms in North Frisia. Excess electricity generated through renewable energy will be converted into hydrogen using PEM electrolysis, then stored locally in pressure tanks and regularly collected at the five locations and delivered to two hydrogen filling stations using a pressure tank vehicle. These hydrogen filling stations supply fuel cell-powered buses used daily for public transport, which is associated with high daily mileage and thus promotes a constant demand for hydrogen. In this way, electricity generated through renewable sources can be stored for longer periods of time and supply emission-free fuel cell-powered vehicles with the required energy in the transport sector.
